Diagnostic Writing Prompt

Our school mission statement is “Providing Pathways to Success.”

Our motto is “You Can Get There from Here.”

In a brief essay, write about your reasons for attending college, specifically why you’re attending HCC. Where is it that you want to “get” from here? What “success” will taking courses here lead you to? What are your goals for your future and how will a college education help you achieve those goals?
