DUE DATES week of 2/28-3/4

By now everyone should have her or his draft returned with my comments (unless you did not submit one or it was late). I’ve attached your files on CE6 on Safe Assign. Click on the “grade” option. Your draft is attached there.

Technically, the final copy is due on Tues 3/1; however, because of the confusion and delays surrounding the return of drafts last week, I will give you the option of submitting your final paper on Thursday 3/3.

You can still submit it on Tuesday if you wish, but if you’d like to have until Thursday to complete your revisions, I’ll accept papers on that day also.

On Tuesday 3/1 we will spending the class time on signing up for accounts on WordPress (for the blog assignment) and going over Project 2. On Thursday we will begin a deeper discussion of the themes for Project 2. I’ll not assign you any extra reading for this week.

No Class 2/22–School Opening Delayed

As you may know, school is opening on a delay today due to the snow (opens at noon). This means that our class will not meet.

We’ll move the class calendar back one day, which means that you need to have the materials on revision read for Thursday. Bring your draft again in electronic format. If there is time in class I will allow you to work on revisions then.

Project One will now be due NEXT week on Tuesday (3/1). Check the Calendar Page for changes and new announcements for assignments and due dates, etc.

Returned Drafts and Inclement Weather

Business Agenda 1:

I am in the process of retuning drafts with my comments through CE6. If your name has  G next to it then I’ve commented on your draft and returned to you. Click on the G and you’ll find the file. In the event of a problem, please let me know and I’ll e-mail  your paper to your HCC e-mail.

Business Agenda 2:

We are expecting some snow/sleet/rain overnight (I’m told). In the event that class is canceled tomorrow (2/22) we’ll move the calendar back one day.  Check the HCC webpage or alert system in the morning to see about school delays and/or cancellations. Check back here to see if I have any announcements regarding class.
